What's is this?
« on: September 03, 2016, 10:39:53 AM »
Ok Yes I know this isn't WBTS, I am thinking Vietnam, Korea, WWII, maybe even later. It is 31 inches tall, 6 inches wide at the base. No fusing in the rear and the front is simply a hollow cone with no threading for a modern screw in fuse. My guess a practice round. It is wider just above the base where the bourlettes are which are brass or maybe copper. I am having trouble with adding photos I tried last night, will try now. if unable I will post this without photos and add them when I figure it out.

ok n go, I have my camera set n smallest picture possible and it wont even let me load 1 picture

M107 155 mm projectile for howitzers of the U.S. Army and Marine Corps and used from 1958 to about the 1970s.

Thanks Mike for posting pictures for me. Thanks John for the reply. helps a lot. I am assuming tht it is not a live round due to the lack of fusing correct.

It will be a few days before I can post some pictures of some I have. The nose is covered with a windshield and the fuse is under that if it is like the ones I have.
Best,
Carl
