Normally I'm not just a nose man, but the juxtaposition of these 2 Hotchkiss nose sections I thought was interesting. 5.1" (Dahlgren) Type I on left and 2.6" (Wiard) bolt nose on right. .58 Minie ball shown for scale!

Great side by side. Here is one I did a few years ago to demonstrate to a button collector how ridiculous are buttons. Here side by side is a 300 pound Parrott, 2.9 inch Parrott, and a Confederate CSN button.
