To All Interested;
As long as am have started the Absterdam series I am adding the Absterdam Percussion Fuze to illustrate its unique striker safety device. The lead leaves are forced to fit through the fuze body lower opening at impact. The lead retaining cone is forced rearward at setback like the Hotchkiss safety cone.

John aka Bart

John or Mike, were these fuzes marked on the top in anyway [ as per Schenkl ], or are they plain as in the drawings ??
-
Dave,
I am not certain, haven't seen a real one yet. Perhaps Pete knows.
Regards,
John

Mine is not marked on the top. It is the one shown in Chuck Jones' book. I also have the anvil cap and striker for another one and that anvil cap is not marked either.

Mike,
Why not post several views of your specimen?
