Vicksburg Dig
« on: February 01, 2014, 05:43:19 PM »
I have attached a pic of the relics my wife and I recovered on private property at Vicksburg a couple of weeks ago.
She dug or eyeballed the majority of minis including a carved, fired one and the .69 cal mini I posted on the bullet page today.

The cannonball is a 6 pound solid I found just beneath the surface.

John,
Very nice trip; congrats on the nice finds.  Glad to see someone is getting out and digging.   Great bonus to have a wife that'll get out and swing a detector too!
Best,
Carl

Sorry, no sister.
There's only one original Honey Badger.

John:  Great photo and  happy for you and your wife's success. I sure remember a couple of great trips you and I had over there. Seems so long ago. coonboy
