Read this article on BBC's website and thought that some other forum members would be interested in it.

There is quite a bit of danger from unexploded ordnance in the work they are doing.

It's written by a female relic hunter in the Ukraine. It's mostly about WWII, but talks some about ancient history, WWI, etc.
The writer's English isn't perfect, but she's an excellent communicator.

That was a very interesting site.  They are finding some amazing things.  She changes my entire perception of Russian women and relic hunters in general!  :P
