cannonball ID

Some pics of a cannonball found in a house here in Georgia. No measurements "a little bigger than a bowling ball" which is usually 8.5 inches diameter. Looks lik a 9 inch Dahlgren to me - any thoughts?

Better photos are needed. The hole in that reportedly 9-inch ball is too small to be anything but the hole in a Watercap fuze's brass bushing. But the hole-closeup photo doesn't seem to show a brass bushing -- nor any threading in the hole.

Regards,
Pete
