Post by: Jack Wells on April 13, 2011, 08:26:12 AM
Not sure how many of you are members of the Company,if not find some one who is,as there is a fantastic article in the latest Company publication about some Gun Tubes, and Projectiles that were recovered from the Confederate Naval facility on / in  the Pee Dee River in S.C. Am unable to scan it,else I would post it.

Can you tell us of the membership requirements and dues, if any?

I am a memeber, and the publication is worth the dues alone. There is a vast amount of information from various researchers on any and all things militaria.
You have to be recommended by a current  member to become a member. All on the forums; please feel free to use my name in the recomendation area on the application.

Also, there are many area chapters that hold meetings at interesting places and they have good speakers \ guests come in. And, these chapters sometimes arrange to have  ' backstage' or basement tours of museums. And you and I know that this is where probably 98 % of the holdings of a museum are located, never to see the light of day except for prearranged tours like these.                Dqavid
