Title: Some 3in Tennessee (aka Mullane) projectiles...

For such a maligned sabot system, they sure did make a lot of variations using it!

Very Nice specimens Mike, are you now ahead of Dicky in numbers? Do they all have side loads?
Regards,
John

Just one is a sideloader, John.  The 2 to the immediate right of it are actually bolts.  The one to the left of the sideloader has the sabot with the cast in pegs and the hard to find brass Mullane time fuse adapter.

I think I am still a few short of the number of projectiles Tom Dickey had in his personal collection.

Mike is it possible to get a closeup of this brass fuse?

I am pretty sure I have sent it to you before, John, because you sent me a drawing of it back.  It is the kind shown on the top of page 47 in Jones' book.  If you still need photos of it, drop me an email and I will take them when I can.
