It is made from solid wood turned on a 50+ year old Craftsman lathe. I then made a templet/holder so I can use my router to cut the flame grooves in the side. I then sand and paint matching colors and clear coat the entire shell. I currently also make Selma's, Schenkl's, Parrott's, Read's, Archer's, Ketchum's, Brook's and Dyer's. It's a lot of fun trying to make different ones and it gives me something to do when it's too hot outside.
