British early Armstrong MetalTime Fuze;
« on: June 05, 2011, 08:47:40 PM »
To All Interested,
      I just received an image of a British early model Armstrong Metal Time Fuze.  Unusual in that it has at least 7 seconds on the timing band.  Fore runner of the Armstrong "E" Metal Time Fuze which in the 1890s was assigned at No. 22 Time Fuze.
Regards,
John

David,
  Only time.   setback drives needle to rear initiating detonator which flashes through hole (not shown) to ignite time ring composition.
