Artillery Projectile Book Photography at the Richmond Show

Hello Everyone:

I will be set up photographing artillery items on Saturday and Sunday, November 19-20th at the Richmond show for my upcoming artillery book. I am looking for rare, unusual, one of a kind and pristine examples of Civil War artillery projectiles. If you have something of this nature and wish to have it pictured in my book, please email me at jack@jwmelton.com. I have already photographed over 870 projectiles for this project. I am also looking for tools, implements and cannon sights for another project. Please send me a picture with a brief description of the item you would like to bring, so that I can make sure I don't unnecessarily impose on anyone or duplicate efforts.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Jack

I'll have at least one rare projectile for you to photograph, Jack.  It looks like Jack Bell is bringing his tools, most of which were in Chuck's book and Dave and Wayne are bringing their canister display.

I have a couple cool sights and a few new rare projectiles since your visit.  We should discuss whether you need them when we get a chance and then we can figure out how to get them for photographing.

Good luck!

Can't wait for your book to come out Jack.  I will definitely purchase a copy when it's out.
