Here are most of my things. Several pieces aren't shown as I have done run out of shelf space. Time to build some more.

Jon, did you make the long gun stand? those are my "left overs" leaning in the corner. I tend to buy rifles to use as stands for mounting bayo's like yours. I figure I can go one layer taller with my Bricks for shells, didn't want to "hole" my walnut boards, but worry about the weight. have most of my big shells on floor on an outside wall

I like the idea of the donation plates by the canister and bar shot.  Any luck?  :)

I'm such a packrat, reason I will never have a great "anything" collection, i collect too many things. I collect alot of 1770-1861 pieces, furniture, transferware and china, etc. I decided to incorporate some early federal eagles into the room, but donations welcome!!!!!

btw looking for items similar to these spongeware with federal eagles from the 1830's, would look military enough:}

No I didn't make the long gun stand, but a friend did. He recently sold off most of his long guns and I bought a couple of his stands. I wanted the guns to feel at home, as most of them came from him.  :)

My shells are along an outside wall too. I am hoping to have them set up downstairs on a carpeted concrete floor once I decide how I want to set  the room up and when I have the other shelves built so they aren't as high. Too cold now to stain and finish the wood in the garage.  Nature brought me a little bit of white stuff today.

Alwion,

Which side used the Schmidt-Rubin? LOLOL!

Nice to see that you appreciate some of the "newer" stuff as well.  Nice "assortment" of stuff there.

That's a hell of a collection you've got there, Buddy. You should be proud.

SH, its those vietnam bomb and rocket parts in the drawers which confuse me:}. I can't focus well on any single area, if I see it, like it, I study it:}}} I would guess I have well over 30 collections, but usually gravitate back to bayonets and 1812 swords usually. Originally wanted to collect 15th century armor and swords lol not happening!!!! Think I wanted to be a knight
