Trans-Mississippi Fagans
« on: May 05, 2012, 03:26:54 AM »
I am very curious to know how many Fagans are actually in collections. I know of the 3 that are in Tom Stelma's book and where a couple of more may be in collections. I would appreciate any of the Arkansas diggers providing just numbers of this bullet that may have been dug. It is a very elusive bullet and I really don't have a clue on how many were produced or found. Tom Stelma and I had several discussions on this bullet and the numbers in the 52 and 577 calibers that he was aware of and guys it's not many. Any inputs even anonomous would be appreciated. Just wanting to get a rough guestimate on what has been found.

Just stick a Gardner into a pencil sharpener and it will pretty much look like a Fagan. Dang hens teeth are common compared to a Fagan.

To my knowledge less than 25 of these bullets are extant.
