Some Interesting Bullet Finds From This Past Weekend
« on: January 05, 2016, 08:56:39 PM »
These three bullets were some interesting finds that I had from this past weekend all of which were firsts for me.

1.  .58 Caliber 3 Ringer, Cone Cavity.  1.105 Height.  .575 Width.  This one is neat in that it appears to have a casting flaw?  At least that is my best guess.  Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

2.  .69 Caliber Fired Round Ball with 3 indentations from the 3 buck rounds.  M&M 547.  This is the first one of these I have found.

3.  M&M #380.  T&T 165 v.  1.305 Height.  .576 Width.  Nose Case.  Shallow Cone Base.  This one was another first for me.

More good finds Jeremy,

#1 is a machine pressed bullet where the two die halves did not come together correctly.  I also have a great example of these.
#2 is a fired B&B where the buck set-back into the ball when fired.
#3 nice bullet, but to me JA3R....  ;D
