I've got a good question for forum members.  I've seen the pictures of those 6.4" Parrotts stacked near the cannons and the 7"/6.4" James Shell in the camp at Charleston, the famous photo of the  13" Mortar balls with the Dictator at Petersburg and the Confederate bolts on board that Union ship displayed as war trophies.  There are a lot of cannonballs in pictures as well.  Has anyone seen a Hotchkiss shell, Dyer, Schenkl or other, small caliber rifled field projectile in a photo?

Beings as how they are field artillery they probably left them in the wagon so they could move quickly
