Thanksgiving
« on: November 27, 2013, 01:41:20 PM »
I hope all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and spend quality time with loved ones. Travel safely and get home safely during the holiday period. Let's not forget those abroad not able to be with family on this holiday of giving thanks for all we have.

Yes, a very Happy Thanksgiving to all!    While the year has been a trying one for many, we still have lots to be thankful for.  One of them for me is all the friends I've made here on the forum and in this hobby.  Best wishes to all!
Best,
Carl

Yea...what he said.  :)  Made friends, learned many interesting things and bought quite a few nice things. A good year for me and hopefully for the other forum members.
Peace out!

For several decades, when I've talked with non-relichunters/collectors about this hobby, I've told them that fully half the benefit of it is the quality of the people you meet in it. Yes, there are dishonorable people in any crowd... but I've met most of the highest quality people in my life because of this hobby. I thank the Heavenly Father for the blessings of their friendship.

Regards to all,
Pete

I've always answered when asked, ' what is the best thing I've ever found metal detecting ? ", I quickly respond with-  "my friends". And that goes for the forums and other people I meet at the shows I set up at. I always have a good time.  I enjoy your company.

My over- used saying is ' what good is a collection, if you can't show it off \ share it with others ??!!"
