Description:Fuse adapter for the Confederate army. This long pattern went into rifled shells like the CS Reads and Mullanes.

Recovered at Fort Blakely, AL where these are much less common than in Eastern battlefields. Head flange is thin reflecting late war copper scrimping. Nice green patina.
