Description:CS Archer percussion fuse as shown on page 58 of Chuck Jones' fuse book. The Archer percussion fuses are the top of the line Confederate fuses for collectors, and this one is a less common type that is tough to get. It measures 2.5" long and 1.08" in diameter at the threads.

Clearly fired in combat, and recovered in the Fredericksburg area.
