Description:Nice condition Hotchkiss time fuse adapter for use in case shot shells. This longer type connected to a flash tube which channeled the flame dow to the powder cavity beneath the pusher plate and shot so as to propel the balls directionally out the nose of the shell. This replaced an early lead version of these adapters that was ineffective.
