Description:This came out of an old collection as evidenced by the October 1959 recovery date written on the fuse. Really nice condition fuse dug before acid rain and other factors ate away the metal. The W stamp on the fuse head is believed to be for the West Point foundry Parrott had across the river from the US Military Academy in Cold Spring, NY. The factory grounds are now a park well worth visiting.
