Description:Fantastic Confederate copper ball fuse adapter with the Q stamp. It is believed that Q is the mark from the Samson and Pae machine shop in Richmond. We had a very informative thread on these basemarks here:

This fuse adapter is in great shape and even has the remnants of the paper time fuse intact in it. It was recovered by Robert Bebo Compton on the retreat route not far down the road from Appomattox.
