Description:Ingenious concept to convert the standard CS time fuse adapters into percussion fuses the Confederate Army was crying for. This is the right type of late war adapter where the South was literally cutting corners to save copper (note the rounded fuse adapter bottom). Girardey insert is in the adapter with the cardboard collar to seat it. A nice, rare fuse.
