Description:This has a crisp and desirable "F" stamp. There are four letter stamps on a small percent of these time fuse adapters and F is a popular one. Even though this one was recovered in the Wilderness, these are often recovered in NC, folks have conjectured that the F may be for Fayetteville, but others think they are inspector stamps. We discussed the meaning of these markings on a thread on the forum and it was one of the better threads we've ever had.

This one is crisp and clear without the need for the use of paint of chalk to highlight it. It is still in the top section of the sideloader ball it was fired in. The frag broke along the line of the sideplug and the threads for it can be plainly seen.
