It has been on display in a smoke-free home since Feb. 2008 and has never been fired. Comes with a catalog from South Bend Replicas, Inc. from the time the gun was purchased which is over 100 pages long and has very interesting history in it. Also, there is an information sheet on the safe firing of the gun from South Bend Replicas if someone choses to fire it.
