Provenance: US

Model: M1840 Cavalry Saber

Location Recovered:

Description:1858 was the last year that Ames made the wristbreaker and they only made 500 of them. Very shortly after almost all would be pressed into service on both sides.

This one is untouched as recovered. I showed it to sword guru Jim Brown and he suggested I leave it as is. This is another item that I won't mind keeping if it doesn't sell.
