Description:Rare smaller size "Burnside" eagle breastplate. It is now believed these are associtated with Maine troops. Some also believe the branch the eagle is clutching is shaped like a fish hook in homage to the fishing roots of many of the Maine troops. I put it next to a regular breastplate being sold separately to show the size difference.
