Description:Beautiful condition half section of a 12pdr case shot cannon ball. This was set up for the Bormann time fuse, but only the underplug is here now. The person I got it from said it came from the old site of the St. Louis Arsenal. Very nice cut job unlike some I have seen lately that look like a drunk with a dull, handheld hacksaw cut them. The person who cut this has his own iron balls because the powder cavity is full although the powder is caked and thus ruined. Nice iron on this one which usually you don't see on cut shells.
