Description:First let me apologize there are no images on this shell. Due to the weather I haven't unpacked from the Franklin Show and it will be a couple days before I can get to it. I will send images if requested unless it sells. So for now the picture of the cannon in the snow falling at Kennesaw Mountain Military Park will have to suffice. :)

A good solid iron example of the thickened bottom portion of a cannon ball done to offset the weight of the thick fuse end. They are called "Coulots" or "Pie Pieces" due to looking like a whole pie when displayed flat side down. This one has a nice even break and good solid iron that is uncleaned and has a light amount of rust. It seems to me based on what I've seen that the 8" is the harder of the sizes to get.

The frag is uncleaned and uncoated but I'll do either or both if the buyer would like.
