Description:This is a very nice example of a 12-lber case shot cannon ball. It displays even better than the picture. The case balls show up very well against this very yellow sulfur matrix. They aren't normally this brightly yellow. The fuse is intact and the iron under plug is clearly seen as well. Note the slight hump in the fuse where the gas pressure from the breakdown of the powder was pushing it up. The outside of the iron (the back) is cleaned and coated. This is a really nice display piece.
