Description:These two big plate pieces fit together perfectly and clearly broke apart possibly whehn the ammo dump at Snyder's Bluff was blown up, but all I know for sure is these came out of the Vicksburg area. I had been saving them for a restoration project, but I lucked into an intact bottom plate and so am going top come off of these beauties.

The 8in stands of grape were made up of 6pdr shot for the balls. I have put two of them in indents on the plates to show how they worked. Although they are not included, I could probably wrestle up a pair for the buyer, but s/he may have his or her own to use in a similar display.
