These bullets are often recovered in camps where Nathan Bedford Forrest's troops were and so picked up the name "Nathan Bedford Forrest Enfields." They look like Enfields, but are actually for the 54 caliber Mississippi rifles that so many Western theater troops carried. They have a distinct look with a thick skirt.
