Description:
These were made in Raleigh, NC. A small subset of those manufactured there have serrations in the rings, presumably to better hold the cartridge glue. From personal experience, I'd say 1 in 100 have these serrations and I grab everyone I can find, which is about one every 2-3 years.

This one came out of John Clark's collection. He was one of the owners of Clark Brothers of Warrenton, VA.
