Description:
Nice bullet in drop condition at a very attractive price for this type -- the scarcest of the Raleigh made Nessler bullets. These were made at the North Carolina Institution for the Deaf and Dumb and the Blind and copied from Belgian Nessler pattern slug used in the Crimean war. This one was recovered at Five Forks, Virginia, the site of the Federal break through of Confederate lines in 1865.
