Price: $29

Provenance: CS

Type: Tennessee rifle

Size: 44 caliber

Cartridge:

MM#: 439

TT#: 63A

Location Recovered: Corinth / Shiloh area

Description:
Everybody loves these awesome little bullets. Originally, McKee and Mason thought they went to the Kerr rifles, but Dean and Jim Thomas have since found that they were made for rifles re-bored to common sizes in an attempt to get some standardization around the dog's breakfast of longarms in use by the Confederacy. Has a nice teat in the cavity and less than half as expensive of what these normally go for as a result of some minor color inconsistencies and a slight abrasion to the nose. Dug by world class digger and our good friend Brant Arnold.
