Description:Smooth sided Confederate Read-Parrott shell. This one measures for the early 2.9in Parrott rifle and has the 3 lands and grooves of that gun as well. Nice lathe dimple and remnants of the wood time fuse adapter in the fuse hole. Nice shell.
