Description:Great economical deal! The Parrott chilled nosed bolt is not plentiful in the 20-lber size. The 30-lber size is the one seen most with the heavy caliber being quite rare and the 10-lbers very rare. These bolts could no doubt do heavy damage to what they impacted. The chilled nose or bottle nose as they are some time called give a distinctive look.

This example has seen some ground action which is why you can get a $350 projectile at this price. The body has lost some surface but the remaining iron is solid. It has a beautiful sabot with great rifling showing the 5 lands-n-grooves of the 20-lber Parrott gun.

Solid bolt has been cleaned and coated.
