Location Recovered: Island Number 10 area of the Mississippi

Description:Nice 7" Dyer shell recovered from the shore in a farm field just South of Island #10. This one has most of its lead sabot which displays nicely with the rifling. There is some slight lead loss on one section of the bottom edge of the sabot, but this does not affect how the shell stands up on its own vertically or displays.
