Description:This 11in ball was recovered by the late Greg Craven in Charleston. It has a nice watercap fuse with the 1861 date so is likely from the early stages of the blockade there and was fired from one of the ironclads.

This shell displays nicely, but there is pitting on the bottom as shown. It spent a couple years in careful electrolysis with the water checked scientifically for salt levels.

This is currently sitting in a suburb of Richmond. It can be shipped, but even at cost that will be pricey so you might want to arrange to go get it.

I don't think you will ever see one of these for less!
