Description:Two projectiles stand out as ones that people want because of their "sex appeal": the bird cage James and the Archer. This is the bolt variety of the Archer projectile. There are a number of varieties of these as well as calibers although the vast majority are for the 3-inch gun. This one is the pointed nose variety of the 3-inch bolt.

This 3in Archer bolt in nice condition and will fill that hole in your collection at a very good price. This one came out of a house in New England and was an early war pickup. It appears to have been hand cleaned and the iron is nice and hard with a good dark color.

Bolt is cleaned and coated.
