Description:Super rare Hotchkiss bolt for the Wiard rifle. The one in D&G has a reproduction sabot but this one has a real sabot that has nice rifling. These are recovered on early battlefields and different from the West Point test range recovered type that is listed on another dealer's website for a lot more money.

This has the flat bottom base cup that we see with early Hotchkiss projectiles. There is some erosion on one side of the nose as can be seen in the pictures.
