Description:This is one of the rarest and most desirable shells we have offered here. Very few of these were made for use in captured James rifles. This one was fired and has good rifling on the long copper sabot. There is no fuse present, nor are signs of the slider shelf or threads so I think it took a wood time fuse adapter. I do have a CS percussion anvil cap which can be set atop the fuse hole and purchased separately if desired.

The last, and only, one of these I saw sold for $2500. It will be a long while before another comes available. This is a consignment piece and I am sorry to say I don't have room for discounting or PayPal or credit card fees
