Description:Pete George examined this shell at the Richmond show and said "it did everything Dr. Read dreamed it would do" in firing. This is the early shell he calls the Viriginia Prototype Read that was still using the wood time fuse adapter. Listed as rarity 7. Has nice rifiling and a clean shell from an old collection.
