Description:Rare Parrott shell type in top drawer condition. The top edge of the sabot looks like a straight line, but after exchanging messages with Pete George, the only way to see fully the corrugation or scalloping shown in the book is to pry back the sabot. There is not another type in the book this could be and boy it is a nice one. I may be pricing this too low for the rarity because I don't think another will come available anytime soon. Most I have seen, and that is not many, are missing their sabots. I think this is the only one I have seen that has been fired and retain its sabot with nice rifling. A connoisseur's shell priced for a regular Joe!
