Description:Sherman got impatient (imagine that) during the siege of Atlanta and had big siege guns brought up to shell the city. A number impacted on what is today the Georgia Tech campus, and this one was recovered during construction on Bobby Dodd stadium in the early '60s (ironically the football field is called "Grant field," but not that Grant!).
