Description:100% CS cannon ball from Spanish Fort, AL. The Unionists had no 10" guns or mortars there, but the Confederates had a bunch of 10" smoothbore cannon in the 3 big forts in Spanish Fort. Iron is about 2in thick at the fuse hole. Nice mold seam. This one has been cleaned for preservation and was actually in a stack of them in my own collection before I replaced it with a different 10in ball with a watercap fuse.
