Location Recovered: Vickbsburg Area

Description:Not nearly as often found as it's big brother the 12-lber solid shot, this is a 6-lber solid. Exact location of recovery isn't known but it came from an old Vicksburg digger and still had Vicksburg looking dirt on it when I got it so I'm sure it was from that area. The iron is hard with light ground action all over but nothing deep at all and areas where it is very smooth. There is no evident mold seam. Again, a good projectile for the money.
