Description:Nice and highly desirable shell recently run through electrolysis and coated for preservation.

It has been my experience that there are 2 types of this shell with different slotted time fuse adapters shown below. The smaller time fuse adapter is found in Spanish Fort, AL area shells and the longer one is found on the Fredericksburg facing front of the Chancellorsville battlefield. Both are very rare (D&G lists both together as rarity 9, but I think the Spanish Fort type is the rarer of the two).

These don't come along very often, and this one just came out of an old timer's collection where I had placed dibs on it several years back.
