Description:This one walked into Franklin from a long time Vicksburg area collection. Iron is fabulous as is often the case with Vicksburg recovered projectiles. Lead sabot has peeled away on one side as it often does, but this has done so neatly so the iron fins are visible from one side and the lead sabot from the other.
