Description:This is an attractively priced 12pdr shell. I cannot feel any lines of weakness inside so do not believe it is a polygonal. There is a belief that these are for Coehorn mortars, but 10,000+ of these were shot from CS cannons for every 12pdr Coehorn mortar tube that was even used in the war.
