Description:This is something of a riddle, wrapped in a mystery inside an engima. Here we have a 30pdr Parrott bolt with Tom Dickey's mark on it attributing it to Shiloh, but there were no 30pdr Parrotts in use at Shiloh. I confirmed this with Rafael Eledge. Perhaps down the road a piece in Corinth, MS? This sabot type on this projectile is uncommon and Bell lists it as a rarity 7.
